Coffee Tables
Select from one of the tables on this page, or allow us to custom-build a table to fulfill your own specific needs, perhaps using one of these tables as a starting point in your design process. Nearly half of the work we do here at Rockledge Farm Woodworks is custom-designed and crafted. Share your ideas and we will do the design work, or provide us with your own drawings. We truly enjoy the experience of working with our clients, and the challenge each new project brings us.

Cherry Burl Table with Vermont Verde Antique Marble
This large Cherry Burl was discovered in the hills above South Royalton, Vermont. We custom-shaped a piece of Vermont Verde Antique Marble to insert in a natural center void, and the table is set on our own design legs/frame of native Black Walnut. This is an exceptional, one-of-a-kind piece, destined to grace a special home. The table top measures 56” long, and is 25” wide at the widest point.
Burls are created when a tree suffers an injury such as a major limb loss or lightning strike, and is able to recover by gradually covering the injury with layers of wood growth and bark. Good condition Hardwood burls are relatively rare, and highly prized for the sometimes exquisitely beautiful and colorful graining found when the burl is opened.

Curly Maple Drop Leaf Coffee Table
A classic design, we have this table (in Cherry) in the family room sitting near our woodstove. In the winter this is where we gather for an informal meal. It is perfect as a coffee table, and with the leaves out gives all kinds of room for setting out a meal, hors d’oeuvres and snacks, or how about as a game and puzzle table! Constructed of hand-selected solid Vermont Curly (Tiger-Striped) Maple, this table measures 36” long, about 18” wide with the leaves down, 34” with the leaves up. Need something similar but a different size or wood, or perhaps a shelf underneath? Have us to custom build a table to suit your specific needs.
