Select from one of the tables on this page, or allow us to custom-build a table to fulfill your own specific needs, perhaps using one of these tables as a starting point in your design process. Nearly half of the work we do here at Rockledge Farm Woodworks is custom-designed and crafted. Share your ideas and we will do the design work, or provide us with your own drawings. We truly enjoy the experience of working with our clients, and the challenge each new project brings us.

Live Edge Birdseye Maple Table on Cherry Frame

This Single Plank, Live Edge Birdseye Maple Table is of wood harvested in 2004 from a woodlot in Corinth Center, Vermont. Highly-figured Birdseye Maple such as this is increasingly difficult to find in Vermont. This particular piece of Birdseye Maple is very nicely colored as well, with gentle shades of gold, brown, green and grey running lengthwise in the grain. “Live Edge” table tops have the bark removed, while leaving the natural (finely sanded and finished) edge of the wood itself. The table sits on a Cherry frame, with slightly tapered Shaker style legs. It measures approximately 14” wide, 48” long, and stands 30” tall. We actually have a “Matched Pair” of these tables, fashioned from the same plank of Birdseye Maple.

The table sits on a Cherry frame, with slightly tapered Shaker style legs. It measures 12” wide, 48” long, and stands 29 1/2” tall.
